What can website skills do?

Skills give the assistant tools for a site, such as searching a forum and reading its topics. Inspect and edit their source in settings. You can enable, disable, remove or explicitly update each skill.

Skills and JavaScript tools can read or change the current page using its session. Disabling prevents new calls; it cannot undo earlier actions. Refresh the page if those changes need clearing.

Can I bring my own AI provider?

Yes. Connect an OpenAI-compatible provider, including your own LiteLLM endpoint, or Gemini. BYOK works without an xgoose account. Conversation upload is off by default and can be enabled separately after signing in.

How does Hosted AI work?

Hosted AI requires a verified account and available credit. Conversations are uploaded and saved automatically. Trial credit is offered only when the trial campaign is open; availability and limits appear in your account.

Hosted conversations include messages and actual tool inputs and outputs, retained for 90 days. Credentials and sensitive authentication fields are redacted. Staff can read a specific conversation only with your authorization.

What happens when I leave the page?

xgoose runs on the current page. Refreshing, navigating away or closing the page ends the active run. Saved history remains available. You can also stop a run at any time from the panel.

A tool you can inspect, from icon to agent.
