Website skills are tools your AI can use.

Think of xgoose as Tampermonkey for AI. Website skills give your assistant callable tools to search, read and work with specific sites.

Tampermonkey extends your browser with scripts. xgoose extends your AI with website skills. A skill describes its tools and the sites where they work; your assistant can call those tools while you ask questions in the on-page panel.

What belongs where

  • The extension runs the assistant, keeps local history and lets you stop a run.
  • The skill directory helps you find tools, inspect their source and install a fixed version.
  • Your account manages Hosted AI credit, connected devices and synced settings.

Choose your connection

Bring your own OpenAI-compatible endpoint, including LiteLLM, or a Gemini API key. BYOK works without an xgoose account. Hosted AI requires a verified account and available credit. Hosted conversations are automatically uploaded and saved for 90 days.

Keep the page in view

Ask a question, inspect tool activity and follow source links when available. Refreshing, navigating away or closing the page ends the current run. You can open saved history separately.

Begin with one task

Install Chrome and connect your AI, then browse skills for a site you already use.
